Performance & Latency
The 2011 wireless keyboard shows improved latency over the 2007 model, with typical response times around 15-25ms thanks to Bluetooth 3.0. While still higher than wired keyboards, the latency is generally imperceptible for typical use. Battery life is excellent, lasting several months on a single charge.

History
Introduced in 2011, this redesigned wireless keyboard featured a more compact layout and improved Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. The keyboard was even thinner than its predecessor and included a built-in battery that could be recharged via USB, eliminating the need for replaceable batteries.
This model maintained the aluminum construction and scissor-switch keys but with a slightly lower profile. It was well-received for its improved battery life and more reliable wireless connection. The keyboard was discontinued in 2015 with the introduction of the Magic Keyboard.
